What we hold,
and what we don’t.

What we collect

Three kinds of data, and nothing beyond them:

• Account data — the email address you sign up with, plus any name or company you choose to give us.
• Generation data — the prompts you submit, the settings used, and the images produced.
• Technical data — request logs, IP address, browser and device type, used to operate and secure the service.

We do not ask for a phone number, a date of birth, or anything else the service does not need.

Why we hold it

To run the service, to show you your own history, to bill usage accurately, to investigate abuse, and to debug failures. That is the complete list. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Training

We do not use your prompts or your generated images as training data. If we ever want to, we will ask first, it will be opt-in, and declining will not reduce the service you get.

How long we keep it

• Generation data is retained while your account is active, so you can find your own work.
• Technical logs are kept for a limited operational window and then discarded.
• Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is longer than the rest.

Delete your account and the associated generation data is deleted with it.

Who else touches it

We use third-party infrastructure providers for compute, storage, email delivery and payment processing. They process data on our instructions in order to provide those services and are not permitted to use it for anything else. We will publish the current list of processors here before launch.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your account and its data
• Stop processing for a specific purpose

Write to hello@paintune.com and we will action it. We will not make you use a form, and we will not charge you for it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you what happened, what was exposed and what we did — promptly, and in plain language.

Children

Paintune is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you rather than quietly updating the date at the top. The version number above changes with every substantive revision.
